<\/div>\n\n                        <div class=\"floating-copy editor col-sm-offset-2\">\n                            <p>Baldung contribua par nombre de ses \u0153uvres \u00e0 fixer la repr\u00e9sentation de la sorci\u00e8re telle que nous la connaissons encore de nos jours. Le Sabbat des sorci\u00e8res, par exemple, gravure sur bois datant de 1510, figure ainsi des femmes dans une for\u00eat, accompagn\u00e9es d\u2019un chat et rassembl\u00e9es autour d\u2019un mortier \u00e0 potion.<\/p>\n<p>D\u2019autres \u00e9l\u00e9ments de cette gravure sont toutefois moins communs dans les repr\u00e9sentations modernes de la sorcellerie. Tel est notamment le cas de la sorci\u00e8re qui chevauche un bouc dans le ciel ou encore des saucisses pos\u00e9es sur une fourche qui renvoient \u00e0 l\u2019id\u00e9e selon laquelle une sorci\u00e8re pouvait rendre un homme impotent. Rappelons qu\u2019on croyait jadis qu\u2019une sorci\u00e8re r\u00e9sultait d\u2019un pacte avec le diable et plus pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment de l\u2019accouplement de la femme en question avec le mettent en avant des femmes ordinaires capables de jeter des sortil\u00e8ges gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 leur connivence avec les forces du Mal, Baldung affectionne de repr\u00e9senter les sorci\u00e8res sous la forme de femmes \u00ab sauvages \u00bb \u00e0 la sexualit\u00e9 d\u00e9brid\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p>Ses sorci\u00e8res nues, aux poses souvent bizarres et \u00e9rotiques, voire vulgaires, firent jadis editor\"><p>Les m\u00e9dias de notre \u00e9poque qualifient fr\u00e9quemment de \u00ab chasses aux sorci\u00e8res \u00bb les campagnes reposant sur de simples soup\u00e7ons qui visent \u00e0 attaquer un personnage public, g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement un homme. Le pr\u00e9sident Donald Trump, par exemple, r\u00e9pond \u00e0 ses d\u00e9tracteurs en parlant de witch hunt, cet \u00e9quivalent anglais de \u00ab chasse aux sorci\u00e8res \u00bb \u00e9tant un des mots les plus utilis\u00e9s sur Twitter. Inversement, on parle souvent de \u00ab magie blanche \u00bb afin de revaloriser la figure de la sorci\u00e8re.<\/p>\n                        \n\n                        <\/div>\n \u00e9chappant \u00e0 leur r\u00f4le d\u2019\u00e9pouses soumises, que ce soit du fait de leur veuvage, d\u2019un abandon ou parce qu\u2019elles disposaient de connaissances m\u00e9dicales leur permettant de venir en aide \u00e0 d\u2019autres femmes, notamment enceintes volontairement ou non.<\/p>\n<p>Jadis consid\u00e9r\u00e9es de mani\u00e8re n\u00e9gative, ces femmes libres, dot\u00e9es d\u2019un certain pouvoir et en contact avec la nature furent mises en avant par les f\u00e9ministes des ann\u00e9es 1970 qui firent d\u00e8s lors de la sorci\u00e8re un personnage incarnant la force
