The Graphic Stories exhibition at the Junge Kunsthalle features works by illustrators and artists who use images and text to express what moves them personally, politically, and socially. The result is a diverse array of often emotional stories that, through various drawing styles, explore big, elusive questions.

In terms of content, Graphic Stories engages in a dialogue with the special exhibition Nicolas Daubanes. Le feu intérieur at the Orangerie. While that exhibition examines power structures, oppression, and resistance from a historical perspective, Graphic Stories explores these questions on a personal level. The selected works convey the “inner fire” and show how political and social structures shape lives, relationships, and self-perceptions. The focus is on themes such as family, identity, and the body, as well as economic inequality, ecological crises, the culture of remembrance, and the desire for justice and participation.

The exhibition is intended for audiences aged 15 and older.
