At invitation of the ZKM, highlights of the collection from the Staatliche Kunsthalle Karlsruhe are on display in a new location.
Around 600 works of art. More than 600 years of art history from the late Middle Ages to the present. Prints, sculptures, paintings. All this awaits you in the exhibition, which extends over two atriums.
From this immense treasure, we have selected a few highlights for you.
Allow yourself to be irritated: On this chronological journey through history, you can expect to find the occasional insert from different periods in time.
We invite you to discover masterpieces from the fields of printmaking and sculpture alongside familiar and rarely shown paintings.
Our collection has gained further additions. Two cabinets provide insights into significant new collection highlights in the area of painting from the 16th and 17th centuries and from the early days of photography.
